Clipsal C_Bus IR Interface

Some pics of my C_bus Ir interface using the Isozone pcb,s that I had recently had designed by my friend John.. According to the Clipsal data info on the 2 channel trans mitter the ir signal out is NOT isolated from the C_Bus system and care must be taken to ensure the connections are left floating and are not grounded.. The Isozone interface takes care of this by using opto isolators..The above interface is hopefully going to used to interface to an Easy 6 pre amplifier used by one of the guys.. The little creame box with the leds is just a test box to indicate which zone is transmitting...Im using a 38Khz oscillator at 5v to simulate C_bus ir out .. Each board takes care of 2 ir zones . The Easy 6 setup requires 3 boards and some links on each board as well as some between boards.. There is also provision for a Kustom Amp setup which just requires links on each board ... have not tested the Kustom setup as yet...
Top right pic shows the power socket on the left and the cat5 socket which carries the ir signals to the easy6 data link input cat5...
Top left shows the 6 ir inputs that will be connected to the C_Bus ir modules
Bottom left shows the pcbs for the Easy6 setup
Bottom right shows a pcb setup for 2 zones of a Kustom setup........
The prototpye interface has been tested with the Clipsal Transmitters and works fine on my equipment. Hopefully havn,t jumped the gun by getting the board designed before fully testing on the Easy6 Pre Amp..............
