I have been a highly satisfied HomeVision user for a number of years; however I had a dilemma when I was planning whole house IR control. I was contemplating whether to purchase the Homevision expansion board for its 8 zone output or using a Xantech
Connecting box; but both did not provide Zoned IR Outputs & Inputs. Luckliy I saw a posting on the HomeVisions user group regarding an IR Zoned Controller that Frank had developed for HomeVision (FirM). I emailed Frank to find out further information and the rest was history.

It has been up and running for the past couple of months, there have been no glitches & even SWMBO likes the increased functionality the system has. She can run all her macros from a standard remote & depending in which room she is in the system can respond differently.

FirM has proved to be an invaluable add-on for my Home Automation system; it is a must add-on for people who want extra functionality; a professional looking product at reasonable cost with great product support.

Frank I look forward to having a more intelligent system when the Zone Probe Hardware is finished.
