Clipsal C_Bus InfraRed

Decided to store some more ir codes for my other kit. After learning ,storing and writing some scenes I tested these new codes and could only get the ir transmitter to initiate the FirM Zone Command signal via channel 1 ..?? No way could I get the Transmitter to send any of the new signals via channel 2 ... Tried all sorts and it appeared to me that I was saving too many levels in the one group ...I was under the impression that 255 levels could be programmed.

So I decided to create eight new IR Groups called Zone 1 ... to Zone 8 as per FirM . The Infrared Group was renamed .. Common IR... So the idea was to store the ir signals for each piece of kit to the relevant Zone Group. The Common IR Group has the eight Zone Command signals plus any other signals common to multiple Zones in this case my Digitrex dvd codes. Had to reprogram my C_Touch scenes to now trigger the correct ir codes in the correct Group.. After I did all this, l tried the codes and most worked fine . Only codes I had problems with were my LG TV which I believe uses RC5 format .. Have also had the same problems with Homevision so I was not really surprised by this.
So it does appear that there is a limit to the number of ir codes can go to a group..

Also while reading the Touchscreen manual I noticed something about “schedules” ..Further reading indicated that you can program events to happen into the Touch Screen.
You can program the Time you want the event to happen , the Day of the week and the type of event .So I created a few and confirmed that they worked by triggering the hallway lite ... You can actually change the Schedules via the diagnostics page once you have downloaded the schedules into the TouchScreen. Quite like this feature.
