Some pics of my xPL-LCD .....Have added some Qprox touch switches so I can have a basic menu system and control some kit. The Menu system is created using Determinators in xPL by the user, although the Menu number is generated by the xPL-LCD. The blue leds are normally quite dim and when any button is touched they all brighten and then fade back down if no button touched. I need to increase the touch area ( the led frame in the pics they are banana socket with 3mm leds inserted).. Not quite sensitive enough...
Top left pic is the boot up display Top right pic is the standby pic which xPL refreshes the time every minute. Bottom left pic is the lighting Menu Bottom right is an xPLRIONET osd message .
Unfortunately the prototype box is too small for the prototype hardware so will need to locate it in a deeper box until I decide to get a pcb done for the lcdosd.
The Menus are quite easy to make up and change and I have already changed the lighting Menu...Theres also a buzzer on board so it will get used as an alarm clock,by detecting an osd message which is an alert message...
