RGBLED Garden Lighting

Received the Garden light pcbs yesterday and they looked great.. ,but we made a
mistake and the led hole sizes were too small .....But its amazing what a small file can do....I took the file to the led pins and in a couple of hours I had enough leds ready for for 10 boards....

As can be seen in the pics above the pcb fits nicely into the HPM Garden light fitting....Notice no current limiting resistor fitted as they are not required as the pwm chips can limit the current to each led to either 10 or 20 milli amps.

In the centre of the pcb there is provision to solder a 4 way cable in my case a 4 core security cable...Im using a 14 strand cable which is a bit of a tight squeeze getting them into the holes. So for easier installation I have soldered a 4 way pin header underneath the board and solder the 4 core security cable to the pin header covering the solder joints with heat shrink.

I have quickly whipped up 4 garden lights and have them installed in the garden with a temporary connection to the MSS100....Im hoping to get more done before the weekend . So if I do I will post some pics of the garden lights in action ..

Its almost 10pm and I think the garden lights look really nice as they change colour ...
