Well as you would have guessed by now I have a fascination with RGBLEDS...
For quite a while I have been searching the web for something suitable for the bathroom vanity unit...but could,nt find anything suitable at a reasonable price...
I recently purchased a curtain controller for the Loungeroom....There were extra rails supplied and I decided to use one to house a Homebrew led strip... The rgbleds are mounted approx 80mm apart connected to strips of veroboard.. Inside the LHS glass cabinet is a plastic box with a mRGBLED Board (3 led unit) and an Led Power Driver mounted. Since there are 11 rgbleds a Power driver is required . My plan is to turn the leds on in the evening and they will normally be lit blue.....But anytime a phone call is received my Homevision HA Controller will set a flag and this will be picked up by xPL and the leds will be turned on to red for 5 minutes....So if someone is home and having a shower this will let them know they have missed a call .Im sure I,ll find other useages in the near future to link colours with events, and if you have suggestions please pass them on.

My next RGBLED Project is to connect (when I receive them) the 3 watt RGBLED,s and try and get them to hi light the garden pond section.

FYI...The RGBLED Board is no longer available ,but ther will hopefully soon be another RGLED Board available from Gerry which will be more DIY friendly as theres no surface mount chips...So im looking forward to trying them out.
